Tucupi Recipe
Tucupi Recipe is a traditional Brazilian sauce made from sap extracted from the cassava root. Yellow in color, the sauce is used for cooking.
Making the sauce is a rather long process. Without proper cooking, the sap is poisonous.
What makes raw juice inedible is the presence of cyanide. After it is brought through a long-lasting cooking process, it loses the effect of cyanide.
