Cod fillet with baked potatoes


  • 8 cod fillets
  • 4 raw potatoes (sliced, peeled)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 tomatoes (sliced - seeds preferred)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • Tomato sauce
  • Origan
  • Oil for greasing

If you don't know how to clean the fish, ask the fishmonger to clean everything, remove the scales and make small cuts on the skin to make the dressing fit.


Step 1

Season the fillets to your liking and set aside for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Grease a baking dish with olive oil and layer the potatoes, then arrange the fillets on top of the potato.

Step 3

Add onion, tomato, pepper, oregano to taste, season with tomato sauce (1/2 can).

Step 4

Cover with the rest of the potatoes.

Step 5

Cover with aluminum foil and bake until potatoes are tender.
